The growth was supported by higher cargo volumes, stable operating efficiencies, and sustained demand across key ports. Despite a challenging global trade environment and fluctuating commodity flows, the company managed to protect margins through disciplined cost control and efficient asset utilisation.

JSW Infrastructure Secures Rs 740-Crore Port Project to Boost Container Capacity in Eastern India

JSW Infrastructure has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority for a Rs 740-crore project at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Dock. The initiative involves reconstructing Berth 8 and mechanizing Berth 7 to enhance container handling capacity. Awarded on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) basis under a 30-year concession, this project reinforces JSW Infrastructure’s strategy to expand its terminal footprint under India’s ongoing port privatization program.
