Juniper Green Energy has successfully commissioned a 43 megawatt-peak (MWp) solar power project in Maharashtra, strengthening India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy sector. This addition to the company’s solar portfolio reinforces its strategic focus on delivering clean energy to support industrial and commercial demand across the country. This large-scale installation underscores the firm’s commitment to accelerating clean energy adoption and supporting India’s ambitious targets under its green transition roadmap.

Juniper Green Energy has successfully commissioned the 59 MWp solar portion of its 75 MW hybrid renewable energy project in Wardha, Maharashtra, a remarkable 17 months ahead of its scheduled deadline. The project, operating under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), integrates both solar and wind power and is part of Juniper’s broader push to scale up clean energy infrastructure across India.

Juniper Green Energy, a fast-growing player in India’s renewable energy sector, has restructured itself into a public limited company, signaling a critical step toward launching its initial public offering (IPO). The company, which recently surpassed 1.1 GWp in operational renewable energy capacity, has been renamed Juniper Green Energy Ltd, as per filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Backed by AT Capital Group, the firm plans to file its draft red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in the coming weeks.
