Eureka Forbes Ltd has reported a striking twofold increase in consolidated net profit for the March 2024 quarter, underscoring the success of its ongoing business transformation under private equity ownership. Backed by strong product sales, operational efficiencies, and strategic innovation, the company posted a net profit of Rs. 49.48 crore, compared to Rs. 21.38 crore a year earlier. Revenues rose over 10%, while EBITDA margins reached a lifetime high of 13%. For the full fiscal year, net profit surged 72%. Management now aims to pivot towards scaling service revenue while sustaining momentum in innovation and investment.
Strong Quarterly Performance Underlines Strategic Momentum
Eureka Forbes, now under the ownership of Advent International via its investment vehicle Lunolux, recorded robust financial performance for the fourth quarter of FY25. The company’s consolidated net profit rose to Rs. 49.48 crore—more than doubling from the Rs. 21.38 crore posted in the same period last year.
Revenue from operations grew to Rs. 612.65 crore, reflecting a 10.67% year-on-year increase, fueled by continued demand in its consumer product lines. Total income, which includes other income, reached Rs. 617.04 crore—up 11% from the previous year.
Operating expenses increased modestly by 7% to Rs. 551.75 crore, indicating strong cost management and resulting in enhanced operating leverage. As a result, the company’s EBITDA margin improved significantly, reaching 13% for the first time.
Annual Profit Soars 72%, Driven by Product Innovation and Cost Discipline
For the full financial year 2024–25, Eureka Forbes reported a consolidated profit of Rs. 164.41 crore, marking a sharp rise of 72% from Rs. 95.64 crore recorded in the previous year. Total income climbed to Rs. 2,451.47 crore, up 11.53% year-on-year.
CEO Pratik Pota described the performance as a validation of the company’s transformation roadmap. “This marks our second full year of transformation, and we’ve delivered yet another quarter of double-digit growth along with lifetime high profitability,” he said.
He attributed the gains to sustained momentum in product sales, which have been growing at a high-teens pace, bolstered by strategic investments in innovation and business expansion.
Focus Shifts to Service Revenue as Growth Strategy Evolves
Looking ahead, Eureka Forbes plans to shift its strategic focus toward enhancing service-led revenues, a segment viewed as critical for long-term sustainability and profitability.
Pota noted that several transformation initiatives are already in motion, and early indicators suggest that service revenue is beginning to gain traction. “We are seeing green shoots in our service revenue. At the same time, we will stay the course on innovations, step up our growth investments further, and drive margin improvement,” he added.
This pivot signals the company’s intent to diversify income streams while building deeper, recurring customer engagement—an essential step for consumer product companies navigating a more service-oriented global market landscape.
Investor Confidence Strengthens as Stock Surges Nearly 10%
Reflecting strong investor sentiment, shares of Eureka Forbes surged 9.97% on Friday, closing at Rs. 594.85 on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The rally follows consistent earnings momentum and growing confidence in the company’s leadership under Advent International, which took control in 2022 after the exit of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group.
As a consumer goods firm specializing in water purifiers, air purifiers, and related hygiene solutions, Eureka Forbes is positioning itself at the intersection of health, sustainability, and innovation—three vectors increasingly shaping investor appetite and customer loyalty alike.
