Ola Group’s artificial intelligence subsidiary, Krutrim, has announced the acquisition of BharatSah'AI'yak, an AI-driven platform developed by technology consultancy Samagra. While the financial details of the deal remain undisclosed, the move includes the onboarding of Samagra’s core AI team. The acquisition is expected to significantly bolster Krutrim’s portfolio by integrating BharatSah'AI'yak’s proven capabilities — notably the KumbhSah'AI'yak chatbot, designed to assist pilgrims during Maha Kumbh 2025.

Krutrim, the artificial intelligence subsidiary of Ola, has categorically denied reports suggesting it is engaged in fundraising efforts amounting to USD 300 million. In a strongly worded statement, the company clarified that it is not seeking external equity investment and labeled the media report in question as factually incorrect. Backed firmly by internal funding from its promoter and select strategic investors, Krutrim emphasized its continued focus on executing its long-term AI roadmap.

Krutrim, an AI firm under the Ola Group, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian AI company to deploy Meta’s Llama 4 open-source models on its domestic servers. The firm now hosts Llama 4 Scout and Llama 4 Maverick models, offering services at competitive prices ranging from Rs 7 to Rs 17 per million tokens. This strategic move positions Krutrim as one of the pioneering companies to integrate cutting-edge AI technology on local infrastructure.
