Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd. (APSEZ), India's largest private port operator, has recently made a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region. The company has announced a non-cash acquisition of the Abbot Point Port Holdings Pte Ltd (APPH), a coal export terminal in Australia, valued at approximately USD 2.4 billion. This acquisition, which marks APSEZ's fourth overseas expansion in the past two years, is seen as a crucial step in achieving its long-term growth objectives.
