This growth further solidifies IHCL’s position as a dominant player in the global hospitality industry.

A Record-Breaking Year for IHCL

In a statement to the regulatory authorities, IHCL’s Executive Vice President - Real Estate & Development, Suma Venkatesh, shared that the company had achieved a record 74 signings during the last fiscal year. This remarkable accomplishment has resulted in an impressive industry-leading pipeline of 137 hotels. With demand for quality accommodations soaring, IHCL’s brand strength and consistent performance across various market segments have been pivotal in driving this expansion.

“We are witnessing sustained demand buoyancy, which has allowed us to scale our footprint across diverse markets, further reinforcing the company’s leadership position in the hospitality industry,” said Venkatesh. The company’s well-balanced approach, focusing on both luxury and mid-tier properties, has enabled it to cater to a wide array of customer needs.

The Role of Ginger Brand in IHCL’s Growth

A significant contributor to IHCL’s expansion has been its Ginger brand, which continues to perform exceptionally well in FY2025. Deepika Rao, IHCL’s Executive Vice President of Hotel Openings & New Businesses, revealed that Ginger led the way with 9 new hotels across varied markets. These locations span commercial hubs such as Nagpur and Coimbatore, industrial areas like Jamshedpur, and leisure destinations including Srinagar, Udaipur, and Diu. Additionally, Ginger hotels have been launched in prominent state capitals such as New Delhi and Goa. By focusing on a diverse set of locations ranging from bustling urban centres to serene leisure destinations, Ginger has allowed IHCL to cater to both business and leisure travellers, reinforcing the company’s cross-segment market appeal.
