Gentari, the clean energy arm of Malaysia’s Petronas, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Shell India to develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country. This partnership, aimed at addressing India’s ambitious clean mobility targets, will focus on rolling out a robust network of fast chargers to meet the growing demand for EV adoption. The alliance underscores a shared commitment to decarbonising transport and enhancing convenience for EV users.

Gentari, a clean energy solutions provider, has commissioned a 150 MW open-access solar power facility in Wardha, Maharashtra—one of the largest of its kind in the state for commercial and industrial (C&I) consumers. Designed to generate approximately 248 million kilowatt-hours of renewable electricity annually, the project is expected to offset over 238,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year.
