Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has laid out an ambitious roadmap for transforming the state into a manufacturing hub by 2047, aligning with the national goal of a 'Viksit Bharat' or developed India. Over the past decade, Haryana has emerged as a key industrial power center in India, thanks to pro-business policies and labor welfare initiatives. The state's latest budget emphasizes increased investment in industrial infrastructure, welfare schemes for workers, and support for startups.

The Haryana government has unveiled an ambitious industrialization strategy by establishing Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) across 10 districts. This policy, spearheaded by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, aims to amplify industrial investment and fortify the 'Make in India' and 'Make in Haryana' initiatives. The move directly complements the recent operationalization of Maruti Suzuki’s cutting-edge facility in Kharkhoda, Sonipat, signifying Haryana’s emergence as a central manufacturing hub.

The Indian government has procured 525 lakh quintals of seed cotton under the Minimum Support Price (MSP) scheme for the 2024-25 cotton season, ensuring financial stability for cotton farmers amidst fluctuating market prices. This initiative, managed by the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI), covers 38% of total cotton arrivals and 34% of the estimated national production. The program has benefitted 21 lakh farmers, disbursing Rs. 37,450 crore.
