In a significant boost to India’s defence manufacturing sector, Bengaluru-headquartered Axiscades announced a strategic agreement with European missile systems giant MBDA to set up a cutting-edge defence facility in Karnataka. The collaboration, formalized through Axiscades’ wholly owned subsidiary, Axiscades Aerospace and Technologies, will see the creation of a specialized unit at the Aerospace Park near Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. The facility is set to house test laboratories, infrastructure for missile launchers, and sophisticated systems engineering capabilities.
