Bondada Group

In a significant development for India’s renewable energy landscape, Vikram Solar has inked a strategic agreement with Bondada Group to supply 250 megawatts (MW) of high-efficiency solar modules. The contract underscores the growing demand for domestic solar technology and strengthens Vikram Solar’s position as a key player in India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem.

Bondada Group, a prominent player in the construction and engineering sector, has secured a landmark project to develop a 400 megawatt hour (MWh) battery energy storage system (BESS) for Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Limited (TNGECL). The initiative will see large-scale, standalone BESS installations at Vellalaviduthi and Thennampatty, aiming to fortify grid stability, enhance renewable energy integration, and manage peak demand in the state.
